This o-ring is supplied in AS568-201 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.171 in (4.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.449 in (11.4 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90201. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for excellent abrasion and tear strength, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or esters call for a different compound.
