568-202 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

APG stocks the HS70202, an AS568-202 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.234 in (5.94 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.512 in (13 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, ozone and weathering, and heat and oxidation. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or ketones are present.

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
