-204 BLACK BUNA 50D O-RING

The H50204 is an AS568-204 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.359 in (9.12 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.637 in (16.18 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. This material stands up to hydraulic fluids, petroleum-based oils, and greases and lubricants. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids call for a different compound.
