568-205 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

The HS70205 is an AS568-205 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.421 in (10.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.699 in (17.75 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Expect good resistance to modern refrigerants, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include commercial refrigeration, engine timing systems, and automotive air conditioning.
