-206 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

The VITON75206 is an AS568-206 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.484 in (12.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.762 in (19.35 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or hot water and steam call for a different compound.

Typical settings include aerospace, chemical processing, and high-temperature process equipment.
