This o-ring is supplied in AS568-206 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.484 in (12.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.762 in (19.35 mm), catalogued under part number E80PC206. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Expect good resistance to water and steam, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
