568-206 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-206 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.484 in (12.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.762 in (19.35 mm), catalogued under part number TES70206. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and strong resistance to permeation. This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, wide temperature swings, and strong acids and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges will shorten service life.
