AS568-207 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.546 in (13.87 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.824 in (20.93 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or ketones and esters are present.

Typical settings include aerospace, high-temperature process equipment, and chemical processing.
