568-208 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

The TES70208 is an AS568-208 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.609 in (15.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.887 in (22.53 mm). The compound resists nearly all process chemicals, steam, and wide temperature swings. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is known for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and a non-contaminating, non-stick sealing surface. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
