Ordered as SV70208, this is an AS568-208 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.609 in (15.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.887 in (22.53 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

It resists engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
