-209 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

Ordered as VB90209, this is an AS568-209 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.671 in (17.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.949 in (24.1 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against many acids, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam call for a different compound.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
