568-209 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80209 is an AS568-209 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.671 in (17.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.949 in (24.1 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to steam, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.
