568-209 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

Part number HSN90209 is an AS568-209 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.671 in (17.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.949 in (24.1 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. The material holds up against ozone and weathering, petroleum oils and fuels, and modern refrigerants. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C).

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
