568-209 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70209, an AS568-209 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.671 in (17.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.949 in (24.1 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and exceptional abrasion resistance. The compound resists abrasion and wear, extrusion under high pressure, and impact and shock loading. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature are present.
