This o-ring is supplied in AS568-213 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.921 in (23.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.199 in (30.45 mm), catalogued under part number VITON75213. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present.

Typical settings include oil and gas, high-temperature process equipment, and aerospace.
