SV70213 is an AS568-213 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.921 in (23.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.199 in (30.45 mm). In service, this quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
