SV70214 is an AS568-214 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.984 in (24.99 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.262 in (32.05 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and aerospace.
