Part number SV70215 is an AS568-215 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.046 in (26.57 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.324 in (33.63 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones and esters are present.
