-217 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

The VITON75217 is an AS568-217 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.449 in (36.8 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or hot water and steam are present.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and aerospace.
