Ordered as HS70217, this is an AS568-217 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.449 in (36.8 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. The compound resists ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones.

Typical settings include commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
