568-217 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

HSN90217 is an AS568-217 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.449 in (36.8 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and modern refrigerants. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in ketones or esters.
