Part number SV70219 is an AS568-219 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.296 in (32.92 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.574 in (39.98 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

It resists many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, high-temperature process equipment, and chemical processing.
