This o-ring is supplied in AS568-220 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 1.359 in (34.52 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.637 in (41.58 mm), catalogued under part number VITON75220. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists many acids, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or hot water and steam.
