U70221 is an AS568-221 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.421 in (36.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.699 in (43.15 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against ozone, petroleum oils, and abrasion and wear. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure, very high tensile strength and load capacity. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C).

Typical settings include press and forming equipment, mining and heavy equipment, and construction machinery.
