APG stocks the SV70223, an AS568-223 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.609 in (40.87 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.887 in (47.93 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
