Ordered as HS70225, this is an AS568-225 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.859 in (47.22 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.137 in (54.28 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists modern refrigerants, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to ketones or esters will shorten service life.
