568-226 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

The HS70226 is an AS568-226 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.984 in (50.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.262 in (57.45 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, modern refrigerants, and heat and oxidation. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
