-234 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-234 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.984 in (75.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.262 in (82.85 mm), catalogued under part number VITON75234. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
