HS70234 is an AS568-234 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.984 in (75.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.262 in (82.85 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Applications involving strong oxidizing acids or esters call for a different compound.
