APG stocks the U70234, an AS568-234 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.984 in (75.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.262 in (82.85 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. The material holds up against extrusion under high pressure, impact and shock loading, and petroleum oils. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving acids and bases or ketones call for a different compound.
