SV70235 is an AS568-235 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.109 in (78.97 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.387 in (86.03 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
