U70236 is an AS568-236 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.234 in (82.14 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.512 in (89.2 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is known for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and exceptional abrasion resistance. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils, abrasion and wear, and ozone. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones will shorten service life.
