568-238 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70238, an AS568-238 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.484 in (88.49 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.762 in (95.55 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists petroleum oils, ozone, and extrusion under high pressure. Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones.

Typical settings include off-highway equipment, press and forming equipment, and mining and heavy equipment.
