-243 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

The VITON75243 is an AS568-243 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.109 in (104.37 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.387 in (111.43 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or ketones and esters are present.
