H50244 is an AS568-244 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.234 in (107.54 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.512 in (114.6 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The material holds up against greases and lubricants, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in automotive brake fluid or strong acids.
