Ordered as U70245, this is an AS568-245 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.359 in (110.72 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.637 in (117.78 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for exceptional abrasion resistance and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. The compound resists extrusion under high pressure, petroleum oils, and abrasion and wear. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in acids and bases or hot water and steam.
