-248 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

The VITON75248 is an AS568-248 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.734 in (120.24 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.012 in (127.3 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or hot water and steam.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, aerospace, and semiconductor equipment.
