The HS70252 is an AS568-252 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.234 in (132.94 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.512 in (140 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters will shorten service life.
