This o-ring is supplied in AS568-254 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 5.484 in (139.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.762 in (146.35 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90254. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, ozone and weathering, and heat and oxidation. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or esters.
