-255 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

The VITON75255 is an AS568-255 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.609 in (142.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.887 in (149.53 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with hot water and steam or ketones and esters.
