E80PC255 is an AS568-255 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.609 in (142.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.887 in (149.53 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) offers good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The compound resists brake fluid, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across water and steam systems, solar and roofing assemblies, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
