The SV70255 is an AS568-255 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.609 in (142.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.887 in (149.53 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with amines or hot water and steam.
