568-256 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

Part number U90256 is an AS568-256 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.734 in (145.64 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.012 in (152.7 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and exceptional abrasion resistance. The material holds up against abrasion and wear, impact and shock loading, and extrusion under high pressure. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or hot water and steam.

It sees regular use in high-pressure fluid power, off-highway equipment, and hydraulic cylinders.
