568-257 FKM 75 SQUARE CUT RINGS

SV70257 is an AS568-257 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.859 in (148.82 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.137 in (155.88 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to amines or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

Typical settings include oil and gas, chemical processing, and aerospace.
