Ordered as SV70258, this is an AS568-258 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.984 in (151.99 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.262 in (159.05 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
