HS70258 is an AS568-258 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.984 in (151.99 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.262 in (159.05 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. This material stands up to ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones are present.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, oilfield and downhole equipment, and commercial refrigeration.
