Ordered as SV70259, this is an AS568-259 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.234 in (158.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.512 in (165.4 mm). The quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
