Ordered as SV70262, this is an AS568-262 black Viton® (FKM) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.984 in (177.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.262 in (184.45 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.
