-264 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-264 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 7.484 in (190.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.762 in (197.15 mm), catalogued under part number VITON75264. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or amines.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, aerospace, and oil and gas.
