568-266 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

The U70266 is an AS568-266 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.984 in (202.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.262 in (209.85 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against impact and shock loading, petroleum oils, and abrasion and wear. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for exceptional abrasion resistance and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or acids and bases call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in mining and heavy equipment, construction machinery, and press and forming equipment.
